Eliza Trefaș will participate in the Creative Crossroads Artists Meeting during the Antisezona Festival in Zagreb, Croatia, from November 7 to 10, 2024. This gathering, organized under the Life Long Burning (LLB) Network, brings together artists and professionals from across Europe to explore innovative approaches and collaborations within the performing arts.
Eliza Trefaș’s work embodies a delicate balance between visible and invisible dimensions of life, explored through the human body. Her artistic practice is rooted in the concept of embodied poetry, striving to address societal and personal fractures with poetic insight and open, contemplative states. Her projects have been showcased in prestigious contexts, including Salonul de Proiecte, Suprainfinit Gallery, eXplore Festival Bucharest, Bang Torres Vedras, Multiplicidades Festival Santa Cruz, RAKETE Tanzquartier Vienna, DO Festival Gdansk, and the National Dance Centre Bucharest. Her unique perspective adds an enriching layer to the dialogues and artistic experiments at Antisezona.
4Culture at Choreographic Convention 2024 in Zagreb
Following this, 4Culture will also take part in the Choreographic Convention 2024, hosted by the Life Long Burning Network. Scheduled from November 19 to 23, 2024, this professional symposium addresses pressing issues in the field of contemporary dance while reflecting on its broader societal impact.
This year’s Choreographic Convention is hosted by Antisezona in collaboration with Nomad Dance Academy, creating a space for vibrant discussions, exchanges, and performances. The program, still in development, promises to offer a rich array of activities tailored to inspire and challenge artists, scholars, and cultural practitioners alike.
As a long-standing partner of the Life Long Burning Network, 4Culture continues to promote critical discourse and innovative practices within the performing arts field. Their participation aligns with their commitment to fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue and supporting artistic development across Europe.
