Working method<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 4Culture Association launches an interactive workshop within the cultural programme \"Celebrating Trouble - Choreographic Convention\". Open to individuals who are actively engaged in the field of performing arts with interdisciplinary interests, the artistic laboratory will be coordinated by Enkidu Khaled, a theatre director and performer originally from Iraq and based in Brussels.\nThe artistic laboratory is scheduled to take place from September 26th to October 7th, 2023, as part of the Timi\u0219oara European Cultural Capital program.\nThe event is jointly organised by the 4Culture Association in partnership with danceWEB Vienna and the Life Long Burning European Network, co-financed by the Creative Europe Program of the European Union, and organised with the support of the Timisoara Project Center within the European Echoes programme.\nThe laboratory will culminate in a public presentation of a collective creation, the outcome of the research led by Enkidu Khaled.\n|How to apply |\nParticipation is free and will be based on registration, limited to a maximum of 20 people. It delivers tools to bring us closer together in our differences and tackles the importance of reflection on social themes through the lens of cultural identity and background. Through this method, Enkidu Khaled questions the encounter between life and theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A studiat teatrul p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een 2006 la Institutul de Arte din Bagdad, unde a \u00eenceput s\u0103 lucreze \u00een cinema. \u00cen 2008, a p\u0103r\u0103sit Irakul din cauza r\u0103zboiului, stabilindu-se ulterior \u00een Belgia. \u00cen timpul studiilor sale la Amsterdam (2014-2017), a dezvoltat \u201eWorking Method\u201d, pe care o implementeaz\u0103 \u00een practica sa de educa\u021bie artistic\u0103, adres\u00e2ndu-se profesioni\u0219tilor \u0219i amatorilor. \u00cen 2016 \u201eThe Working Method\u201d a c\u00e2\u0219tigat premiul \u201eBig in Belgium\u201d \u0219i a fost prezentat la Festivalul de la Edinburgh. Pentru piesa sa de teatru documentar \u201eBaghdad\u201d a fost premiat cu cea mai bun\u0103 interpretare actoriceasc\u0103 la Festivalul Interna\u021bional de Teatru MESS de la Sarajevo \u00een 2018. Spectacolul s\u0103u de teatru\u201e Bar by bar, night by night, story by story, onward!\u201d a adaptat pentru scen\u0103 romanul de debut al scriitorului irakian Hassan Blasim \u0219i a avut premiera \u00een 2021 la KaaiTheater Brussel. \u00cen 2022 a adus pe scen\u0103 spectacolul colectiv \u201eTank Tink\/One\u201d \u00een cadrul ECOPOLIS, festival dedicat celor implica\u021bi pentru cauza unul viitor sustenabil. \u00cen prezent, Enkidu Khaled lucreaz\u0103 ca artist asociat la Toneelacademie Maastricht.
\u00cen timpul r\u0103zboiului din Irak, c\u00e2nd vie\u021bile cotidiene erau \u00een pericol, Enkidu Khaled ca t\u00e2n\u0103r creator de teatru a pus adesea sub semnul \u00eentreb\u0103rii rolul artei \u00een via\u021ba lui de zi de zi. Devenind con\u0219tient de impactul artei pentru dezvoltarea societ\u0103\u021bii \u0219i a individului, a ajuns s\u0103 \u00een\u021beleag\u0103 teatrul ca pe un instrument de supravie\u021buire \u0219i nu ca pe un privilegiu. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 proiectele sale artistice, s-a dedicat educa\u021biei prin art\u0103. Cercet\u0103rile sale l-au determinat s\u0103 imagineze un model de educa\u021bie artistic\u0103 bazat pe \u00een\u021belegerea de sine, contextualitate \u0219i imagina\u021bie.

Celebrating Trouble - Choreographic Convention project will take place in Timisoara from 25 September to 8 October. The project's programme includes dance and performance shows, installations accompanied by laboratories, workshops, residencies and panel discussions and brings together artists and special guests from international area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
